The affordable female gift guide

My previous post was my luxury gift guide, which may be too expensive for the majority of people wanting to buy a gift for a friend, your boss or even some family members. If that is the case, I have 10 brilliant gift ideas that are under £40 that look so effortless, but are affordable. The brands are great and so are the prices!

1) Slippers - There is nothing nicer than a fresh pair of fluffy slippers to put your feet in and these ones look so cosy!! They're only £30 from Asos but look so expensive!

2) A makeup bag -  These makeup bags are so beautiful and from John Lewis. There is nothing nicer than starting off the New year fresh with a new and clean makeup bag!

3) Pyjamas - Pyjamas are a really great gift - I included some silk pyjamas which were more expensive in my luxury gift guide, but here are a few options that are more affordable at under £30. They are from M&S, Asos and Topshop.

4) Eye mask sleep sets - This seems like such an extra and luxurious gift that you will be amazed is under £30 and they have 20% at the moment on Beauty Bay! This satin sleep set includes an eye mask, scrunchie and a pillow case.  It is perfect for any skin conscious and bed loving females and comes in 6 colours.

5) Cosy scarfs - This would be a very loved christmas gift. It is always safest to go for a classic beige or a traditional check, unless you know the person really well then go for a bolder print.  You cannot go wrong with a scarf.  The top left is Asos and the rest are from Next

6) Stationary and planners - For the lady who loves to plan and make lists, this is the perfect gift.  Whether you are a paper diary girl or a list girl, we all secretly love a bit of organisation. There are some beautiful designs on Papier for just £21.99.  Below are just a few I have selected and they come in a diary format or a productivity planner.  The best thing about it is that you can personalise them!

7) Reading and coffee table books - It is very hard to buy books for someone you don't know so I suggest this is a gift for someone you know a bit better, so you can pick their favourite genre.  If you are feeling brave and want to go for a best seller then go for it!  All books below are from Amazon.  

8) Face masks - A face mask couldn't be more appropriate in 2020.  With the issue of Mascne that many females are suffering with, treat the female in your life to a silk one to help improve their mask woes. These are £16.99 from The Big Silk or buy 3 and get the fourth free!

9) Vase and flowers - Receiving a vase with flowers is always such a lovely gift.  It's particularly trendy right now to have fake or dry flowers also. Below is a very vibrant option that shows creativity, but of course you could buy a bouquet of Rose's and a plain clear vase. The below 2 items are from Amazon!

10) Alexa - My final gift option is an Amazon Alexa. She is the best friend you need that never answers back! You don't realise how much you need her until you have her, so give somebody that option and give them her as a gift.
