lockdown holiday

Yesterday my partner and I were supposed to be flying to Cannes. It was going to be a glamorous holiday of beach walks, shopping in designer stores and staying in a spa hotel. Unfortunately it was not meant to be, this pandemic has taken over.  But I appreciate my partner and my lucky situation even more than ever and instead... we had a french day!! We ate french food, baked pain Au chocolat, went on a french riviera equivalent walk and watched a French themed film. It was lovely and made me look forward to our opportunity to go abroad soon. Making the most of the situation we are in.
